DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team claimed a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-20) sweep of Fordham Sunday afternoon at Frericks Center. The Flyers extended their winning streak to four and UD has won seven of its last eight matches.
Sophomore
Jamie Peterson led the Flyers with a match-high 15 kills. Dayton improves to 10-6 on the season and 3-0 in Atlantic 10 action while Fordham moves to 7-8 overall and 0-3 in league play.

Maura Collins led all passers with a match-high 19 digs

Dayton will kick off a four-match road stretch next weekend with games at George Mason and George Washington. The Flyers and Patriots are set to square off on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at GMU's Recreation Athletic Complex in Fairfax, Va.
