PHILADELPHIA – The University of Dayton women's soccer team concluded its season with a 1-0 loss to La Salle in the Atlantic 10 Quarterfinal Saturday at McCarthy Stadium on LaSalle's campus.
The Flyers, who were the No. 5 seed, finish the season with a 7-9-3 record. The No. 4 seed Explorers improve to 11-7-1 and move on to play No. 1 seed Saint Louis in the semifinals at SLU's Hermann Stadium.Â

•  The Flyers took 10 more shots than the Explorers, but shots on goal were closer with UD leading that category just 7-6.
•  The match was very physical with 25 combined fouls. The Flyers had 19 and La Salle had 16. There were no cards.
