Women's Basketball Suffers Loss To No. 4 UConn

The Flyers Hosted Their Second Straight Top 10 Opponent Tuesday

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team lost at UD Arena to No. 4 UConn by a final score of 75-37.
 
The Flyers (3-3) suffered their second straight loss and third in their last four games.
 
KEY MOMENT
1st – An Olivia Nelson-Ododa jumper capped off a 13-0 UConn run, and the Huskies never looked back.
 
GAME BREAKDOWN
1st Quarter: UConn 29, Dayton 13
  • Both teams traded early baskets, with the Huskies grabbing an 11-7 lead at the first media timeout.
  • A 13-0 UConn run in just 1:58 of play gave the Huskies a 24-9 lead late in the quarter.
