ESTERO, Fla. – The University of Dayton women's basketball team led at the half against No. 21 Gonzaga, but were unable to hold on, falling 76-65.

The Flyers (3-4) suffer their third straight loss while the Bulldogs (5-1) get their fifth victory.

• Dayton opened the scoring in the first minute with a bucket by senior Jayla Scaife.
