DAYTON –The University of Dayton women's basketball team rallied from down 12 to win 83-69 in overtime on Wednesday Night at UD Arena.
 
The Flyers move to (14-10, 9-4 A-10), while the Wildcats move to (15-11, 9-4 A-10)

GAME BREAKDOWN
1^ST Quarter: Dayton 11, Davidson 13

• Davidson went on an 8-0 run after a three by Lauren Cannatelli opened the game for Dayton.
• Both teams struggled to shoot the ball in the quarter. The Wildcats shot 5-16, while the Flyers shot 4-17.
• Cannatelli led all scorers with six points, going 2-3 from three in the quarter.

 
2^nd Quarter: Dayton 24, Davidson 26

• A 5-0 run by Dayton to start the quarter forced a Davidson timeout with 7:46 left.
• Shakeela Fowler slashed through the defense twice for back to back layups to give the Flyers a 24-17 lead.
• Davidson answered with a 9-0 run to take the lead back 26-24 at the half.
• Jayla Scaife led Dayton with eight points at the break.

 
3^rd Quarter: Dayton 37, Davidson 40

• Scaife made a layup to open scoring in the half and tied the game 26-26.
• Back to back layups followed by a three, all from Araion Bradshaw, gave UD a 33-28 lead.
• After Dayton extended the lead to seven, Davidson answered again with a 10-0 run to take the lead 40-37.
• Dayton struggled to rebound the first three quarters, getting outrebounded 39-28.

 
4^th Quarter: Dayton 67, Davidson 67

• After trading baskets to start the quarter, Davidson went on a 7-0 run in 50 seconds to take the lead 50-41.
• Cannatelli scores five straight points to cut the lead back to five, 57-52 Davidson with five minutes left. Cannatelli continued the streak hitting a three forcing a Davidson timeout.
• Davidson scored five points to extend the lead back to seven, 62-55.
• Maddy Dennis hit a three to cut the lead to three, the Flyers continued to get a steal and knock down two free-throws. Davidson led 66-65 with 21.7 seconds left.
• After a free throw by Davidson, Scaife hit a layup with two seconds left to send the game to overtime.

Overtime: Dayton 83, Davidson 69

• Dayton opened up overtime with a 10-2 run, to take the lead 77-69.
• Scaife and Cannatelli continued lead the Flyers with 20 points each.
• The Flyers continued to shoot well from the line knocking in six straight free throws.
• Dayton outscored Davidson 16-2 in overtime.
