Box Score Kalamazoo, Mich. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team dropped the first of a three-match road trip this weekend by a score of 7-0 to Western Michigan. Dayton falls to 1-5 with the loss while the Broncos improve to 7-4 on the year.
Western Michigan swept the doubles point, winning by a 6-3 margin on all three courts.
Natalie Allen forced a third set in singles play with a chance to put the Flyers on the scoreboard, but dropped the superset tiebreaker, 7-3.
Dayton will remain in Kalamazoo for the night and will take on Valparaiso at Western Michigan's home court tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. (ET). The Flyers will also travel to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee on Sunday at 1 p.m. (ET).
