CHARLESTON, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team picked up two wins on Friday in its second day of action at the Charleston Southern Willie Jewell Invitational. Dayton started the day with a 14-0, five-inning win over Maryland Eastern Shore and then outlasted South Dakota, 4-3, in nine innings.
Dayton improves to 2-1 on the season while Eastern Shore and South Dakota are now 0-1.
