Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DAYTON -- The University of Dayton men's tennis team won both of its matches on Sunday to push the team's current winning streak to six matches. The Flyers are now 10-4 this season and have outscored opponents by a 32-1 margin during their winning streak. Wright State is now 7-8 this season, while Wittenberg owns a 6-3 record. Dayton has now won six straight matches against Wright State head-to-head.

The Flyers got off to a slow start on the day as Wright State was able to grab the doubles point with a pair of 6-2 victories on the top two courts to secure an early 1-0 lead. Dayton put away any doubt of an upset away fairly quickly in singles play however as Jordan Benjamin (No. 1), Langford Hills (No. 2), Spencer Richey (No. 3), Joe DeMarco (No. 5) and Lorenzo Rollhauser (No. 6) all won in straight sets to clinch. Steven Karl also went on to win in three sets at No. 4 to give UD the 6-1 team win.

Several Flyers got to make their dual match lineup debuts against Wittenberg, as Jayman Jhattu and Peter Schulteis both made their first appearance during the spring on Sunday. The Flyers came away victorious in all eight matches, including a pair of doubles wins, to come away with a 7-0 sweep over the Tigers. Freshman Joe DeMarco also got experience playing at the top of the lineup with a 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 1.

Dayton heads off to Chicago next weekend for matches against DePaul on Friday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. and UIC on Mar. 16 at 1 p.m.
