Box Score DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's tennis team defeated Saint Louis 7-0 on Friday night at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club. Dayton improves its record to 6-4 on the season, while Saint Louis is now 1-5.
Lorenzo Rollhauser and
Joe DeMarco started things strong for Dayton with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles, while
Jordan Benjamin and Specer Richey, along with
Langford Hills and
Steven Karl both won their doubles matches by a score of 6-3 on courts one and two, respectively.
In singles play,
Jordan Benjamin (No. 1),
Spencer Richey (No. 3),
Steven Karl (No. 4) and
Joe DeMarco (No. 5) all picked up straight-set victories.
Lorenzo Rollhauser won 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 at No. 6 singles, while
Langford Hills closed out the scoring with a 7-6, 5-7, 10-8 win at No. 2.
