DAYTON –The University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated Saint Louis on Saturday, 73-57 behind a strong defensive effort.

The Flyers finish the regular season undefeated in conference play at home (15-12, 10-6 A-10) while the Billikens (14-15, 9-7 A-10) lose their third straight.

Lauren Cannatelli made a three in transition to complete a 14-2 Flyers' run and give Dayton the 16-9 lead. The Flyers never looked back after that basket.
