Box Score DAYTON -- The University of Dayton men's tennis program celebrated its Senior Day on Sunday morning and the Flyers came away victorious with a 4-0 win over Duquesne at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club. Seniors
Jordan Benjamin,
Lorenzo Rollhauser and
Langford Hills were all recognized before the match for their contributions to the program. The Flyers are now 13-5 this season and Duquesne drops to 7-9.
Similar to its match on Saturday against Fordham, Dayton once again jumped out to a quick lead in doubles play, as
Langford Hills/
Joe DeMarco won 6-0 at No. 2 and
Lorenzo Rollhauser/
Steven Karl won 6-1.
In singles play, the Flyers clinched the win with three consecutive victories, all of which came in straight sets.
Langford Hills and
Lorenzo Rollhauser won via identical scores of 6-3, 6-0 on courts two and six, respectively. Joe DeMaro clinched with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles.
Up next, Dayton will travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. to take on Western Michigan on Sunday, March 31 at 10 a.m. (ET).
