FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The University of Dayton softball team dropped its first game of the Colorado State Classic, 14-3 (5), to the host Rams. Senior Kyle Davidson opened the game with her second home run of the season.

Dayton moves to 7-6 overall while Colorado State improves to 13-4 on the season.

Winning Pitcher: B. Hutton (5-2) - one earned run on five hits while striking out four to one walk (5.0 IP)
Losing Pitcher: Olivia Lessmann (0-1) - four earned runs on five hits with one strikeout and one walk (1.0 IP)
Note: Dayton's Catherine Jensen worked three innings of relief giving up five earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts to four walks
