Box Score Lexington, Ky. -- The University of Dayton men's tennis team traveled to Lexington, Ky. on Friday morning for a match against nationally-ranked Kentucky as a final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships later this month. The Flyers will take a 15-7 record into the conference tournament and Kentucky now has a 14-12 record with the win.

Langford Hills and
Joe DeMarco lost a hard-fought match at No. 1 doubles,
Jordan Benjamin and
Jayman Jhattu evened things up with a 6-3 win at No.3 before Kentucky took the opening point at No. 2 with a 6-3 clincher. In singles play, the Wildcats took advantage of wins at courts two, three and five to win the match.
Up next for the men's tennis program is the Atlantic 10 Championships from Apr. 25-28 at the USTA National Complex in Orlando. The Flyers advanced all the way to the finals last season for the first time since 2005 before bowing out in the championship match against top-seeded VCU.
