PHILADELPHIA - The University of Dayton softball team claimed two Atlantic 10 wins at La Salle, 9-6 and 14-8, Saturday at the Explorers' West Campus Softball Field. The Flyers combined for six home runs on the afternoon led by sophomore Abby Ehrenborg with a total of three.

Dayton improves to 21-19 on the season and 8-3 in league action while La Salle moves to 8-25 overall and 1-10 in conference play.

Dayton 9, La Salle 6
Winning Pitcher: Jessica Gilliam (9-7) - six earned runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts to one walk (7.0 IP)
Losing Pitcher: Cailey Joyce (5-10) - six earned runs on 12 hits with two strikeouts to three walks (7.0 IP)
Notable: In her last four starts, Gilliam has recorded four wins over four complete games

Dayton 14, La Salle 8
Winning Pitcher: Jessica Weaver (9-6) - six earned runs on six hits with six strikeouts to four walks (7.0 IP)
Losing Pitcher: Morgan Orlowski (3-13) - 11 earned runs on 11 hits with two strikeouts to four walks (7.0 IP)
Notable: junior Jules Curry knocked out her first career home run in the top of the sixth, a three-run pinch-hit homer

• 23 - on the day, the Flyers combined for 23 hits, including six home runs and three doubles
• 7 - on the strength of three home runs, Ehrenborg tallied seven RBI on the afternoon
