ORLANDO -- The Atlantic 10 Conference released the bracket for the men's tennis championships on Tuesday and Dayton earned the No. 4 seed, as well as a first round bye in the tournament. The Flyers will compete in the quarterfinal at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Friday against the winner of the match between No. 5 George Washington and No. 12 St. Bonaventure. The Flyers earned a 15-7 (5-2 A-10) record during the regular season, including an impressive 4-2 win over perennial power Western Michigan on March 31.
Each court will have a live stream of the action and the conference will also be providing live results. Links to watch and follow along, as well as the full bracket can be found at the top of the page. The Atlantic 10 Championships take place at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., which is the world's largest tennis facility with 64 acres and 100 lighted tennis courts.
Senior
Jordan Benjamin once again headlines the Dayton attack with a 13-5 record at the No. 1 spot in the singles lineup and fellow senior
Langford Hills has been a mainstay at the No. 2 spot, compiling a 12-3 record in that slot of the lineup this spring. Junior
Spencer Richey won 10 matches at No. 3, while sophomore
Steven Karl and freshman
Joe DeMarco both have winning records in the back half of the lineup.
Lorenzo Rollhauser has also been somewhat of an ace at the No. 6 spot in the lineup with a 6-2 record there.
Benjamin and Rollhauser became the winningest class in Dayton Tennis history earlier this year, as the senior duo have now compiled 64 wins in their careers as a Flyer.
The Flyers advanced all the way to the finals of the tournament last year for the first time since 2005, defeating No. 6 Duquesne and No. 2 Davidson before falling to top-seeded VCU in the championship match.
