DAYTON – The University of Dayton rowing team hosted Duquesne Saturday at Eastwood MetroPark for a series of 500-meter sprints.

The Flyers won nine of the sprints, including UD's V8+ winning all its races.

"We were excited to race in Dayton and enjoyed the support of friends and family," said rowing head coach Mike Wenker. "The weather turned out almost perfect and both teams raced well. We made a few switches between the 500s and learned a few things. It was a good day."
