Box Score CLEVELAND -- The University of Dayton women's tennis team competed on Wednesday afternoon and fell to Cleveland State by a score of 6-1. The Flyers are now 4-17 this season, while the Vikings improve to 10-7 with the win.
Kelly Pleiman highlighted the day for the Flyers with a 7-5, 6-1 straight sets win over Isabella Spindler in the top spot of the lineup.
Mary Brascia also won the first set of her match at No. 3, but wound up falling by a score of 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (5).
The Flyers will be back in action this weekend at Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Apr. 6 at 1:00 p.m. (ET).
