Box Score LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Dayton volleyball team battled Texas A&M to five sets but fell to the Aggies, 3-2 (23-25, 25-22, 18-25, 27-25, 13-15), in both teams season opener Friday evening. The match was the first of the Louisville Cardinal Classic hosted by UofL at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.

Sophomore Jamie Peterson led all attackers with a career-high 19 kills to go with a career-high 11 digs for the match's only double-double. Dayton is now 0-1 while Texas A&M is 1-0.

KEY STATS
• .692 - with 10 kills to one error in 13 attempts, junior Olivia Dubay was swinging at .692 for the match.
• 5-4-2 - in addition to her 19 kills and 11 digs, Peterson tallied five assists, four blocks and two service aces.
• 5 - freshman Amelia Moore added five kills and five blocks.
