Men’s Soccer Comes Up Short At Central Arkansas

The Flyers Tied In The First Five Minutes

CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Dayton men's soccer team battled Central Arkansas in a back-and-forth opening five minutes, but the host Bears rallied back for the 2-1 victory.

The Flyers (1-4) fought to the end against the Bears (3-1-1), but were unable to even the score.

  • Central Arkansas took the initial lead in the second minute on a goal by Niklas Brodacki.
  • Dayton tied it back up in the fifth minute off the third goal of the season from junior Jonas Fjeldberg.
