Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. –  The University of Dayton men's tennis team fell 4-0 on the road to University of Kentucky Tuesday night at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex.

The Wildcats improve to 6-1 overall and UD drops to 0-4.

The UK pair of Alexandre LeBlanc and Kevin Huempfner finished doubles play first, defeating Joe DeMarco and Will Harper 6-0. César Bourgois and Liam Draxl clinched the point for the Cats with a 6-2 victory over Matt DeMarco and Connor Bruce. Steven Karl and Jayman Jhattu were tied 3-3 in their doubles match when Kentucky secured the doubles point.
 
Flyer freshman Connor Bruce fell 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and then fellow freshman Oliver Dunne dropped his match at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-1. The Cats clinched the match with Bourgois defeating Karl 6-4, 6-4 in No. 2 singles.

Dayton freshman Matt DeMarco was up 2-0 at No. 3 singles, and Jhattu was up 4-3 in the second set at No. 5 singles before Kentucky clinched the match.

The Flyers will face Wright State this Friday, Jan. 31 at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg, Ohio at 7 p.m. Then, Saturday, Feb. 1 Dayton takes on Lipscomb at South Regency Tennis Center at 5:30 p.m.
