Box Score MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis team defeated IUPUI 4-3, extending the team's winning streak to two, on Friday night at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg.
The Flyers won despite dropping the doubles point 2-1.
Connor Bruce and
Joe DeMarco took the No. 1 point, but IUPUI took the next two.
Dayton took four out of six singles points with
Connor Bruce clinching the match for the Flyers in No. 1 singles. The freshman won 7-6, 6-3 to win the contest against the Jaguars.
The Flyers also took the No. 4-6 points.
Georgi Mavrodiev took the No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-0.
Joe DeMarco followed that with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 and
Will Harper won at No. 6 singles 6-1, 7-6.
