HOUSTON - The University of Dayton softball team closed out play at the 2020 Houston Classic with a 9-0 (6) loss to No. 21 Oregon Sunday afternoon at Cougar Softball Stadium. Senior
Mallory Kimmell went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Flyers.
Dayton ends the weekend with a 2-8 overall mark. Oregon improved to 9-0 on the season.

Dayton has a bye weekend coming up but will return to action Feb. 28-March 1 as it travels to Greensboro, N.C., to take part in the Spartan Classic hosted by UNCG. In addition to host UNCG, Dayton will also square off against Appalachian State and Oakland over four games played at UNCG Softball Stadium.
