MACON, Ga. - The University of Dayton softball team narrowly came up short against Tennessee Tech, 8-6, before besting Mercer, 9-5, on the second day of the Mercer Invitational. In the second game of the day, the Flyers knocked out three home runs while senior
Mallory Kimmell went 4-for-4 at the plate.
Dayton moves to an even 2-2 on the season. Tennessee Tech is now 3-1 overall while Mercer moved to 1-2.
