RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team put together a four-run seventh-inning rally but UIC walked off with the 6-5 win over the Flyers. Senior Julia Blarr kick started the two-out final-inning rally with a solo home run, her third of the season, in Dayton's second game of the Eastern Kentucky Invitational.

Dayton is now 5-11 on the season while UIC moves to 7-10 overall.

Senior Jessica Weaver (4-3) was charged with the loss after working the final two innings. Freshman Sarah Bailitz was the Flyers starter, collecting five strikeouts in 4.0 innings pitched.
