Flyers Erase Two-Goal Deficit to Earn Crucial Win

DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's soccer team hosted the George Washington Colonials at Baujan Field on Thursday night, as they played their second-to-last regular season home match. The Colonials stunned the Baujan Field crowd early on, scoring two goals in less than five minutes to open the match. The Flyers came storming back in the second half, coming from behind for a 4-2 victory.

KEY MOMENT
Dayton spent the majority of the second half in the attacking end, but got the breakthrough they needed when Laney Huber cut the Colonials' lead to 1, with her fourth goal of the season in the 48th minute. With momentum on their side, the Flyers would go on to score three unanswered goals, one from Alicia Donley, and two including a penalty kick goal from Itala Gemelli.
