DAVIDSON, N.C. - The University of Dayton volleyball team completed the season sweep of Davidson with its 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-17) win Sunday. Sophomore
Amelia Moore led the Flyers with 11 kills, a .588 hitting percentage and seven (3-4) blocks.
Dayton improves to 18-5 overall and 11-0 in Atlantic 10 Conference match-ups while Davidson moves to 10-10 on the season and 6-4 in league action.
KEY STATS
• .265 - as a team, the Flyers posted a .265 hitting percentage for the match compared to the Wildcats' .058
• 16.0 - with a match-high-tying 11 kills, three solo blocks and four assisted blocks, Moore led all scorers with 16.0 points

Lexie Almodovar also tallied 11 kills in the match; senior
Jamie Peterson was the third Flyer with double-digit kills (10)
• 10.0 - the Flyers recorded a total of 10.0 team blocks to the Wildcats' 2.0
UP NEXT
Dayton continues a four-match road stint next week with games at Fordham and Rhode Island. On Friday, Oct. 29, Dayton will be in the Bronx for a 6 p.m. tilt against Fordham at Rose Hill Gym. The following day, Dayton will head over to Kingston, Rhode Island, for a 6 p.m. match-up against URI in the Rams' Keaney Gym.
