PHILADELPHIA, PA – The University of Dayton women's soccer team was back at Baujan Field on Sunday, as they hosted the George Mason Patriots, a match that served as the Flyers' Senior Day, honoring the program's four senior student-athletes in a pre-game ceremony. The Flyers wasted no time getting on the board, scoring in the first minute of the match, and they wouldn't look back, as they coasted to a 5-1 victory.

The Flyers got first half tallies from
Jessica Sheldon in the first minute, and
Itala Gemelli netted her 6
th of the season in the fifth minute. The Patriots would get a goal back prior to halftime, as Katie Saunders got her second of the year to bring the Patriots back to a one goal defecit.
Jessica Sheldon would put the Flyers back to a two goal advantage in the 76
th minute, netting her third goal of the season to put Dayton back up 3-1.
Alicia Donley would round out the scoring for the Flyers, as her 77
