WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The University of Dayton volleyball team fell to sixth-seeded Purdue, 3-2 (25-27, 19-25, 25-15, 25-6, 15-5), Friday evening at the Boilermakers' Holloway Gymnasium. It was the Flyers ninth appearance in the NCAA Second Round and 16th overall in the NCAA Tournament.
Dayton closes the 2021 season with a 26-6 overall record. Purdue advances to the regional semifinal to be played Dec. 9 and is now 25-6 on the year.
