DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated the University of Richmond on Friday 72-54. The Flyers competed in their first home game in nearly a month.
Dayton improved to 11-1 overall and a perfect 10-0 in conference play while Richmond fell to 10-5 on the season and 7-3 in the A-10.

- Sophomore Mariah Perez added six points in the quarter and grabbed six of her 11 rebounds in the quarter.
- Erin Whalen and Kyla Whitehead each added four points.
- The Flyers outscored the Spiders 18-8 in the quarter.

- Perez scored to reach 10 points, setting another career high on the game. This was her first career double-double and the second double-double by the Flyers this season.
- Erin Whalen hit her fourth three of the game, tying her season-high for three-pointers made.

8 – Richmond only attempted eight field goals in the first quarter, their lowest number of shots attempted in a quarter this season. The Spiders also committed eight turnovers in the quarter.
