DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will head to Indianapolis on Saturday to take on Butler. The match with the Bulldogs is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.

The Flyers enter the match after winning last Friday against Cedarville 7-0. Sophomore
Erica Wojcikiewicz sits at 7-3 in singles play individually, leading the team. Sophomores
Elizabeth Hamilton and
Paige Kompa sit at 6-3 in doubles play this season and will look to continue that trend against Butler. UD as a team enters the contest with a 4-6 record and have won three out of their last four matches.

Butler will play for the first time since Feb. 21 in Saturday's contest and sit at 2-3 through five matches this season. The Bulldogs won against Marian and own a two-match winning streak. Natalie Boesing has played each match at No. 1 singles, going 3-2 so far in 2021.

Dayton has won two of the past three matches against Butler, with the last match resulting in a 4-3 Bulldogs victory on Jan. 26, 2020 at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg.
