DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team held off Saint Louis Saturday, 3-2 (25-11, 29-31, 19-25, 25-14, 15-9), on Senior Night at Frericks Center. The Flyers claim the program's 14th Atlantic 10 Conference Regular Season title and have earned the No. 1 seed at the upcoming #A10VB Championship.

Dayton ends the regular season with an 11-1 overall record and an 8-1 mark in A-10 action while Saint Louis moves to 8-10 on the season and 6-4 in league play.

With an .889 conference winning percentage, Dayton claimed the No. 1 seed for the 2020-21 A-10 Championship and the privilege to host the four-team tournament April 2-3 at Frericks Center. The complete bracket with match times will be released soon.

KEY STATS
• 58 - as a team, Dayton tallied 58 kills to Saint Louis' 45
• 47 - senior Bridget Doherty set a match-high 47 assists, her fifth match with 40+ assists this season
• 20 - as one of three Flyers with double-digit digs, junior Maura Collins led all passers with 20 digs
• 16 - two Flyers recorded a match-high 16 kills on the way to a double-double on the night. Junior Jamie Peterson had 16 kills and 11 digs while freshman Lexie Almodovar had 16 kills and 10 digs.
• 11 & 9 - just one block off a double-double, sophomore Amelia Moore posted 11 kills to go with a career-high nine blocks. This was her third double-digit kill match of the season.

As the No. 1 seed for the 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship, Dayton has earned the right to host the four-team tournament. Based on campus and local COVID-19 protocols and capacity restrictions, Dayton home athletic events will not be open to the general public. Limited seating is available to guests of Dayton student-athletes (names must be on a pass list for admission). Additionally, attendance at Dayton home athletic events will be socially distanced and fans are required to wear masks.
