DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team dropped a 5-1 decision to visiting Eastern Kentucky Wednesday in a midweek non-conference contest at UD Softball Stadium. Despite a 30-minute weather delay mid-game, the Flyers and Colonels were able to get the game completed.
Dayton is now 15-22 overall while Eastern Kentucky improves to 31-11 on the season.

UP NEXT
Dayton will return to Atlantic 10 action this weekend with a four-game set at St. Bonaventure. The Flyers and Bonnies will play back-to-back doubleheaders Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 with first pitch slated for 12 p.m. both days at SBU's Joyce Field in Olean, N.Y.
