DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team finishes up the regular season on Saturday, April 10 at St. Bonaventure with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
The Flyers are 3-3-1 overall this season, but lead the Atlantic 10 standings with a 3-1-1 record in league play. A victory Saturday would clinch a postseason spot in the A-10 tournament.

Dennis Currier is in his 16th season at the helm of the Flyers, totaling 155 victories, the most in UD history. He returns the reigning Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year

Overall, Dayton is scoring 2.00 goals per game and holding opponents to 1.57 goals each outing. The Flyers are outshooting opposing teams 18.0 to 16.3 as well.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
ST. BONAVENTURE
St. Bonaventure hosts Dayton with a 4-3-1 record on the year and 1-3-1 A-10 mark. The Bonnies are 1-2 at home on the season and coming off a tough 6-1 loss at Saint Louis.
Head coach Kwame Oduro is in his sixth season at St. Bonaventure.
The Bonnies are averaging 1.50 goals each outing and giving up 1.88 goal to opposing squads. SBU is also being outshot 10.8 to 15.5 through eight games.
St. Bonaventure is led by Shea Currey with four goals this season, while Fredrik Hansen has contributed three goals. Goalkeeper Justyn Sandhu has 41 saves and one shutout in eight starts.
THE SERIES
Dayton and St. Bonaventure have met 21 times previously with the Flyers winning 13 games and the Bonnies winning seven. Earlier this season, the meeting ended in the first draw of the series 1-1 in double overtime at Baujan Field.
LAST OUTING
Dayton is coming off a 5-1 thumping at home to Duquesne on April 3 for senior day. Fjeldberg had two goals and two assists in that game to lead the Flyers.
St. Bonaventure suffered a 6-1 loss at Saint Louis on April 3 ending its two game unbeaten streak. The Bonnies allowed four goals in the first 17 minutes and were unable to mount a comeback in the second half.
FJELDBERG DRAFTED BY F.C. CINCINNATI
Dayton Sr.
Jonas Fjeldberg was recently drafted in the 2021 MLS Superdraft by F.C. Cincinnati with the 54th pick overall in the second round. He will join up with the team after the completion of his Sr. campaign.
INTERNATIONAL FLAIR
Dayton has been known to have numerous international players and this year is no different. The Flyers' roster contains eight international players from the countries of Sweden, Ghana, Norway, Nigeria, Bosnia, and South Africa.
RECAPPING THE 2019 SEASON
Dayton last competed in the fall of 2019 and went 13-8 overall and 6-2 in A-10 play. The Flyers got hot late and won five games in a row to take them all the way to the A-10 Championship game before eventually falling to Rhode Island in the final.

FJELDBERG EARNS A-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jonas Fjeldberg was named A-10 Player of the Week on April 5 after scoring two goals and adding two assists the previoius week. It was the first A-10 honor for Fjeldberg this season.
UP NEXT
The Atlantic 10 Championship starts on April 15 with the semifinals being held at the site of the No. 1 overall seed in the league standings.
