COACH'S COMMENTS
"We knew it was going to be a competitive game," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "They have got a really good program and they are tough to breakdown. I thought the last 15 minutes of the first half we started to find our rhythm. We started to pick up the possession. That was probably our best part of the game. That momentum took us into the second half and I thought it was just a matter of trying to find that goal and I thought it came off us just pressing and winning the ball and Andy (Sanchez) did a good job gliding through the back four to find the shot. Overall it was a good performance and we just improved as the game went along."
UP NEXT
- The Flyers will finish up the preseason Sunday at Baujan Field hosting Wabash at 7 p.m.
