COACH'S COMMENTS
"I thought it was a really gritty performance from our guys coming off an emotional win on Friday," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "We knew we were going to have to play through that. In the first half, I thought we were stale. They did a good job defensively, shutting down our top guys. I thought the second half, we controlled the whole time. We found a great goal with the dummy and a nice shot in the side netting. That kind of opened the game up and we took control of everything."
UP NEXT
- The Flyers will stay at home to play Western Michigan on Friday, Sept. 10 at Baujan Field.
