DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's soccer team had another historic season and was ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 or receiving votes every week of the regular season and conference tournament.
The Flyers achieved their highest ever ranking at No. 16 and led the nation in shots per game, highlighting the most dangerous attack in the country.
Dayton overcame a challenging schedule including draws at No. 2 Kentucky and No. 20 Saint Loius, and wins over West Virginia, South Carolina, Rhode Island, and VCU.
UD won the 2022 Ohio State Wolstein Classic after outscoring Cal Poly and USC 9-2, with All-Tournament honors going to four Flyers.
