BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out play at the Hilltopper Spring Fling Sunday. The three-day event hosted by Western Kentucky featured five games for the Flyers.
Dayton is now 1-9 on the season after two weekends of action. Illinois State finished the weekend 3-10 and host WKU is now 13-1 overall.
GAME ONE
Illinois State 3, Dayton 2

Quinn Pallardy knocked in two RBI with her single in the fourth inning

UP NEXT
Up next for the Flyers is the Lipscomb Purple and Gold Challenge March 4-6. Dayton will square off against College of Charleston, Southeast Missouri and host Lipscomb for a total fo five games in the Music City.
