DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated George Mason University Saturday afternoon as they earned an 84-44 victory in Atlantic 10 play.
The Flyers (18-3, 9-0 A-10) remain undefeated in conference play.

1st Quarter: Dayton 23, George Mason 6
- Sophomore Makira Cook opens up the game with both of Dayton's baskets with six minutes left in the quarter.
- Graduate student Araion Bradshaw nails a three and gives UD a 15-6 lead over George Mason.
- The Flyers end the quarter on a 17-0 run.
- Dayton is led by Cook with 11 points in the first quarter.
2nd Quarter: Dayton 43, George Mason 13
- At the 6:50 mark, graduate student Jenna Giacone made a jumper, sparking another Dayton run.
- The Flyers' defense held the Patriots to seven points this quarter.
- At the half, Dayton had 14 points off turnovers compared to George Mason's zero.
- With 0:19 seconds remaining, Cook made a three-point jumper shot, adding to Dayton's lead.

3rd Quarter: Dayton 64 , George Mason 26
- Three steals in a row, first by sophomore Tenin Magassa and then two in a row by graduate student Araion Bradshaw, gives Dayton a perfect jump start to the half.
- Heading into the media timeout, Dayton led 59-21 with Cook boasting 24 points and Bradshaw clocking in seven rebounds and five assists.
- Cook tied her career best in points scored with 29 points shooting 13-15 on the floor and 3-4 from beyond the arc.
- Dayton has only had eight turnovers in comparison to George Mason's 19, with the Flyers scoring 20 points off of turnovers.

- At the media timeout, Dayton led George Mason 75-36 with the team having 25 points off the bench over the game.
- With her first rebound and assist as a Flyer, redshirt freshman Anna LeMaster enters the stat sheet.
