DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team won its second-straight Atlantic 10 series after taking two of three games against St. Bonaventure at home this weekend. The Bonnies claimed game one, 6-2, early Sunday afternoon after the contest was restarted from Saturday's weather postponement. The Flyers notched back-to-back five-innings wins Sunday to close out the series.
Dayton is now 8-13 on the season and 4-2 in league action while St. Bonaventure moves to 2-13 overall and 1-5 in conference games.
GAME ONE
St. Bonaventure 6, Dayton 2

Haven Dwyer tallied a career-high six strikeouts in her first career complete game
• 2 - three Flyers tallied two hits in the game

• 2 - four Flyers knocked in two RBI apiece

Dayton 11, St. Bonaventure 3 (5)
• 18 - as a team, Dayton tallied a season-high 18 hits
• 4 - junior
Katie Reeg went 4-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored
• 4 - junior
Grace Gressly knocked in four RBI on three hits

UP NEXT
Dayton will played a midweek non-conference doubleheader Wednesday at Morehead State. First pitch between the Flyers and Eagles is set for 1 p.m. at MSU's University Field in Morehead, Kentucky.
