DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team fell to visiting Saint Joseph's, 7-4, Sunday evening. The Flyers' and Hawks' three-game Atlantic 10 series was shortened to two due to inclement weather in the Dayton area.
Dayton closes out the weekend with an 8-15 overall mark and an even 4-4 record in conference games while Saint Joseph's moves to 9-14 on the season and 5-3 in league action.

Dayton will continue a six-game homestand on Wednesday as it plays host to Butler. First pitch between the Flyers and Bulldogs is set for 3 p.m. March 30 at UD Softball Stadium and admission is free. The game will be available via live stats as well as broadcast on ESPN+.
