DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team was bested by Northern Kentucky, 4-2, at home on Tuesday. Juniors
Emily Daniel and
Grace Gressly both recorded multi-hit games for the Flyers.
Dayton is now 8-16 on the season while Northern Kentucky moves to 12-16 for the year.

• 8 - Gressly extended her hitting streak to a season-high eight games, the second-longest streak on the team this season
• 2 - both Gressly and Daniel tallied two hits in the game; Gressly tallied two RBI and Daniel scored one run for the Flyers

Dayton will continue a six-game homestand on Wednesday as it plays host to Butler. First pitch between the Flyers and Bulldogs is set for 3 p.m. March 30 at UD Softball Stadium and admission is free. The game will be available via live stats as well as broadcast on ESPN+.
