NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out the weekend with a 1-0 win over College of Charleston at the Purple & Gold Challenge hosted by Lipscomb.
Dayton moves to 4-11 on the season while Charleston is now 5-15 overall.

UP NEXT
UD is set to open the home portion of its 2022 schedule on Wednesday in the Flyers' last non-conference matchup prior to league games getting underway this coming weekend. Dayton will welcome Ohio to UD Softball Stadium for a single game March 9 and first pitch between the Flyers and Bobcats is set for 2 p.m. Admission is free.
