DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will wrap up the regular season with a match on Wednesday afternoon at Northern Kentucky. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Five Seasons Sports Club in Cincinnati.
 
The Flyers enter the match at 9-11 on the season having last played on April 3 as part of the team's Senior Weekend. In that match against Eastern Michigan, freshman Laura Greb picked up her 11^th win of the season, one behind fell freshman Neena Katauskas for the most wins on the Flyers.
 
 Katauskas has 12 wins on the season, which is the most wins by a Flyer since Jade Kawamoto went 18-7 in 2018. The pair of freshman join junior Elizabeth Hamilton with double-digit wins, the first time since that same 2018 season that at least three different Flyers have reached 10 singles wins in a season.
 
Northern Kentucky enters the match at 2-10 this season after dropping a pair of matches over the weekend to Youngstown State and Cleveland State. The Norse fell 7-0 on Saturday to Youngstown State before dropping a 5-2 contest to Cleveland State on Sunday.
 
Sylvia Gray leads the Norse with seven wins in singles play this season, posting a 7-5 record in dual singles matches. Maria Koo has been the team's force at No. 1 singles with a 6-5 record at the top singles flight this season. Koo has paired with Laura Sola Grau at No. 1 doubles as well, with the tandem tying for the team lead with four wins.
 
The Flyers are 6-5 against the Norse dating back to 2009. Dayton has already defeated Northern Kentucky this season, winning 5-2 on January 28. In that match, UD got singles wins from junior Erica Wojcikiewicz, Hamilton, Greb, and senior Claire Ghidotti.
