DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team closed out its 2022 home schedule with a 6-3 win over visiting Massachusetts Sunday. With the win, the Flyers claimed the 2-1 Atlantic 10 Conference series over the Minutewomen and continue their push for an A-10 Tournament berth.
Dayton improves to 18-21 on the season and 11-9 in league play while Massachusetts moves to 19-27 overall and 12-9 in conference games.

Ali Weekley tallied two hits in the game - in addition, Weekley scored two runs

Dayton will close out its 2022 regular season schedule at Fordham next weekend. The Flyers and Rams are set for a three-game Atlantic 10 series in the Bronx at Bahoshy Softball Complex May 7-8.
