Box Score DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Flyer Invitational at Graul Tennis Complex on Dayton's campus on Saturday afternoon. The Flyers played a doubles match against Northern Kentucky before finishing the event with a second round of singles play against Cincinnati.

The Flyers opened the day with taking two doubles sets against the Norse. Sophomore
Neena Katauskas and freshman
Natalie Osiecki took down Angie Rinaldi and Mariajose Hernandez 6-1. Senior
Elizabeth Hamilton paired with junior
Sarah DeMarco to defeat Ananya Kothakota and Sylvia Gray 6-2 to each earn their first doubles wins of the season.

That led to the final portion of the event for UD with a second set of singles matches against Cincinnati. Osiecki earned her second win of the day and her third-consecutive singles win to start her collegiate career with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Kelli Niehaus.

Sophomore
Laura Greb won for the first time this fall in straight sets over Hayley Hirsch 6-0, 6-1 to give Dayton a second win over the Bearcats on Saturday.

The final win of the day went to senior
Erica Wojcikiewicz, who battled in a three-set win over Natasha Opaciuch. Wojcikiewicz won split the first two sets 6-2, 4-6, before winning in the final frame 12-10 to pick up her second singles win of the season.

The Flyers will next head to the Ball State Invitational on Sept. 23-24 in Muncie, Ind.
