Lexie Almodovar led all attackers with a season-high 23 kills while freshman
Mia Otten tallied a career-high 16 kills to lead the Flyer offense.
Dayton improves to 8-7 on the season and 2-0 in Atlantic 10 action while Fordham moves to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in league play.
KEY STATS
40 & 19 - junior
Livie Sandt posted her sixth double-double of the season with a match-high 40 assists and a career-high 19 digs
23 - Almodovar posted a match-high 23 kills, her second 20+-kill match of the season, while swinging at .400; she was one off a double-double with nine digs
18 - sophomore
Anna Wuensch also recorded double-digit digs with 18
16 - Otten's career-high 16 kills came with a .316 hitting percentage; she also tallied three blocks and two digs
9 - junior
Amelia Moore put up nine blocks on the afternoon - two solo, seven assisted
UP NEXT
Dayton will open the home portion of its 2022 Atlantic 10 schedule next weekend with two matches against Davidson at Frericks Center. The Flyers and Wildcats are scheduled for a 7 p.m. match-up on Friday, Sept. 30 and a 2 p.m. tilt Saturday, Oct. 1. Admission is free.
