DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated Davidson Wednesday evening as they earned a 66-60 victory in Atlantic 10 play.
The Flyers (3-12, 2-2 A-10) clenched another conference win while Davidson (7-9, 0-2 A-10) has yet to win a conference matchup.

1st Quarter: Dayton 18, Davidson 11
- Scoring the first points of the game was senior Sydney Freeman with a lay up and free throw.

- The Flyers held the Wildcats 9-4 at the five-minute mark.
- The Flyer defense was strong forcing two turnovers back to back.

- Freshman Nayo Lear made a driving layup after the media timeout.
- Sophomore Arianna Smith closed out the second quarter by making a jumper shot.
- Dayton used opportunities well, scoring 7 second-chance points.
- The Flyers outscored the Wildcats 26-12 inside the paint.

3rd Quarter: Dayton 45, Davidson 44
- Perez was fouled in the first minute of the quarter and made her two free throws.

4th Quarter: Dayton 66, Davidson 60
- Junior Taisiya Kozlova widened the Flyer lead with her three point shot to kick-start the final quarter.
- Dayton went on a 7-0 run over 1:04 and forced a Davidson timeout.
- Bohanon ends the Flyer scoring drought with an aggressive two-pointer.
- A back and forth defensive battle caused the Wildcats to foul Jones. She made both of her free throws.
- Smith sank a deep three-pointer to keep the momentum with the Flyers and put her in double digits for scoring.
- The Wildcats had no field goals the last 4:16 and made one out of 11.
- Bohanon sank her two free throws and made the lead seven points.
- At the line again, Bohanon sank two more free throws to close out the game and clinch a Flyer win.
