Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team opened up the 2023 spring campaign this past weekend with matches at Indiana University and Purdue University.

The Flyers dropped a 4-1 decision to the Hoosiers on Sunday before earning a 5-2 victory over the Boilermakers on Monday.

"I'm very proud of my team," said head coach Ryan Meyer. "As a program, we strive towards doing things the right way, whether it's in the classroom, on the court, or in the weight room. Today all that hard work paid off. We played Flyer tennis."

To open the season, senior Connor Bruce won the No. 1 singles match at Indiana to kick-off his year with a victory. He followed that up with another single win on Monday at Purdue.

Sophomore Eric Perkowski won both his singles and doubles matches against the Boilers, along with his partner senior Georgi Mavrodiev, who won both of his contests as well.
