DAVIDSON, N.C. - The 18th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team has now won 23-straight sets after downing Davidson, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-23), Friday night in Atlantic 10 action. Junior Lexie Almodovar and sophomore Taylor Russell combined for 30 of the team's 49 kills in the win at the Wildcats' Belk Arena.

Dayton improves to 19-2 on the season, has won 14-consecutive matches and is now 8-0 in league action. Davidson moves to 12-6 overall and and even 4-4 in A-10 contests.

KEY STATS
41 - junior Alyssa Miller set 41 assists, her ninth 40+-assist match of the season, to go with seven digs, three blocks (1-2) and two kills
17 - Almodovar led all attackers with 17 kills and also had eight digs and two blocks
15 - sophomore Karissa Kaminski got under a match-high 15 digs to lead all passers
13 - Russell was the second Flyer in double-digit kills with 13
3 - freshman Gaby Arroyo served up three aces for the third time this season
Davidson - the Wildcats were led by Isabel Decker with 12 kills and Bella Brady with 10 digs
