WASHINGTON, D.C. - The 18th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team closed out a series sweep of George Washington Saturday with its 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-15) win at GW's Charles E. Smith Center. Junior
Lexie Almodovar was one dig away from a double-double with 18 kills and nine digs to lead the Flyers.
Dayton is now 25-2 on the season and holds sole possession of first place in Atlantic 10 standings with an unblemished 14-0 mark in conference games. George Washington moves to 7-18 overall and 4-10 on league contests.

Alyssa Miller was also one dig away from a double-double with a match-high 32 assists and nine digs
20 - the Flyers have won 20-consecutive matches, equaling the program's fourth-longest winning streak
18 - Almodovar led all attackers with a match-high 18 kills, her 13th three-set match with double-digit kills this season

Lindsey Winner tallied a match-high four blocks, her third-consecutive match with four or more blocks
1.000 - as a team, the Flyers posted a perfect 1.000 reception percentage as the Revolutionaries were unable to record a service ace in the match
George Washington - Amina Robinson got under a team-best 12 digs and Salem Yohannes recorded six kills
UP NEXT
Dayton continues its four-match road swing next weekend with two games at Rhode Island. The Flyers and Rams will square off Friday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. at Rhody's Keaney Gymnasium.
